A Partnership between Envision and Regional Institute on Aging Hopes to Increase Resources and Foster Student Interest in Low Vision Research.

The partnership between Envision Research Institute (ERI) and WSU’s Regional Institute on Aging (RIA), and its director, Dr. Alex Chaparro, were featured in an article on Eyewire Today. The article discusses how the partnership between the two research institutes serves as a way to increase the resources available to both organizations. Additionally, the article highlights that the partnership will facilitate and increase student interest in low vision rehabilitation research.
Graduate student Seyed ali Cheraghi from the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Erin Gannon a graduate student in the Human Factors Psychology program, have received funding from the RIA for collaborative projects between the two organizations.
